Brendan Carr
Carr has been an FCC commissioner since 2017. Previously served as general counsel and an aide to previous FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai.
He supports changes to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and opposes Net Neutrality protections. Opposes content moderation of digital platforms as a “free speech rights” issue. One of the authors of th Project 2025.
Biden renominated Carr in May 2023 and Trump selected him as FCC chair.
